(this would also bypass firewall for that console , although i think you would be fine without any for a game console perhaps a lot of people do this to get open nat and it always works. Dmz is the easiest to do since you literally just type in the ip of the console and DMZ it on netgear login. 03/10/2009 24/03/2017 Now change your "NAT filtering" to "open". Make sure that "Disable SPI Firewall" is checked and then click "apply" and wait for your router to reboot. If this doesn't work then you should check if your UPnP is enabled and if you don't see the "NAT Filtering" at all then you should update your router to the newest firmware version which can be found at www.netgear.com. Moderate NAT is expected when the PS4 is behind a router. There should be no problem . That said, the following settings are often recomended. Make sure your WNR2000v4 is not plugged into another router (i.e. your ISP's box may be a combination modem and router) Enable Open NAT under ADVANCED > Setup > WAN Setup Try disabling port forwarding and enable uPnP. Keep your reserved IP. Go to WAN Setup and enable Open NAT. That should do it.
